I can only speak to his obvious professional relationship with Woody Allen as he's distributed a bunch of his films, same with Tarantino. I totally agree on Rooney Mara deserving Best Actress. She received NO buzz and the movie didn't get the respect it should have either. Dragon Tattoo got really hurt because the Swedish made version of the book was done so well, most of the influential critics probably saw that one and didn't give the Fincher version enough credit.
